Sultan Al Qasimi visits UAE and Arab pavilions at London Book Fair

H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, visited the Sharjah pavilion at the 46th London Book Fair 2017 at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London on Tuesday, represented by the Sharjah Book Authority.

He reviewed the cultural contributions of the Sharjah pavilion, including cultural and literary publications that were exhibited by the Sharjah Book Authority, as well as contributions from Al Qasimi Publications, the Culture and Media Department, Kalimat Publishing House, the UAE Council of Youth Books and the Culture Without Limits project.

H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi highlighted the importance of Arab and Islamic values and morals, as opposed to attempts to promote unethical practices and concepts that increase with cultural, social and technological openness, which affect the identity and culture of current and future generations.

He listened to a presentation from Majd Al Shehhi, Manager of 1001 Titles Initiative about its developments under the slogan "We Support Idea to Enrich the Content", which aims to publish 1001 Emirati books.

H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi toured the corridors and pavilions of the London Book Fair while visiting the Dubai Police Academy pavilion, and listened to explanations about the cultural and scientific publications in police-related fields.
