His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, said that AED 17,500 is the minimum standard of living in the emirate, without any other obligations. His Highness pointed out that the employee's salary is only to improve his life and His Highness works to find jobs for all.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah revealed that the number of employees of the Government of Sharjah reaches about 14 thousand employees via the Direct Line Programme broadcast live on Sharjah Radio.
His Highness raised the minimum level of the employees of the Government of Sharjah, after calculating it many times, and that His Highness is currently working on the people's need for health insurance, housing, and others.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah said that he is working on the reconstruction of countries to create jobs, and facilitate the ways for employees, to return to their homes with ease, and pointed out that these jobs are a social guarantee for these citizens.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah thanked Her Excellency Afaf Al Marri, Director of the Sharjah Social Services Department, for his diligence and that His Highness will survey the needs of all the homes this year and if he reach the conclusion that AED 20,000 is not the minimum standard of living, His Highness will raises.
