There, they were transported on the backs of horses and mules in a caravan of 40 animals. They went through rugged terrain for days till they arrived at the city of Lar. They rested there for one day, then the caravan started moving to a place called Caravan Station. Bibi Fatima looked around in search of the mule her uncle Rais Nuruddin was riding but could not see it. She came across an erect wooden beam with a man hanging down from it. Looking closely, she recognized the hanged person to be her cousin, Nuruddin. She suppressed her scream in order not to frighten her children. The caravan then went through a terrain more rugged and dangerous than before, and it was a much longer journey to Isfahan. King Muhammad Shah was then taken to prison in an iron cage.
