While the palace judges of the High Court in Lisbon were investigating the decision to execute Turan Shah as made by the High Court in Goa, Feroz Shah who was seeking his recognition as King of Hormuz, passed away in February 1609. He left two sons: Prince Ferug Shah and Prince Salgor Shah. They were both under the care of their aunts, daughters of Rais Sharafuddin.
