91 Muhammad Shah hugged them and then extended his arms towards Bibi Fatima and lifted her of the port platform and on his horse. He took his nephews by the hand and walked next to the horse which carried the most precious thing he ever had, his beloved one. On the way to the town, they were met by droves of men and women who came out to meet them. The people kept coming out to the streets of Hormuz and seemed never ending. The news had spread about the arrival of Bibi Fatima which Prince Muhammad Shah has announced. Arriving at the palace gate, Bibi Fatima said: “I will stay in my father’s house.” As they stood at the palace gate, king Muhammad Shah said: “No, you stay here in the palace; you and the children.” She entered the palace and as she started checking the rooms, her uncle Rais Sharafuddin came to greet her. Then, he whispered in her ear: “The king is asking for your hand in marriage. What is your answer?”
