Peribeque did take his departure at once after arriving, as I judged best to wait until we should know where he was going to with any certainty, which was along the whole of the island of Queixome, and he left yesterday Sunday, the thirtieth of this month of October, from the center of the island, where he was, and where he had been all the time, and went forth; I think, by the news I had, that he will leave the island altogether today: he goes to Baçorá according to the news I had, and if Fernão Farto does not find them, surely from thence to the Cape they will hear of them.
