_ 177 _ All the people (272v) in this area predict that this enterprise is reserved for me and because I can see its great need, I am offering myself as an unworthy soul for all the tasks that can be carried out in this land, for the love of Jesus Christ. If my pilgrimage in this present life is cut short, I shall not be a great loss and I shall attain the goal of my desires. If I live, I shall endure life and its labours with patience, just like a farmer who waits for the harvest. As the spirit moves you, may Your Reverence give more glory to the Lord for I was made just like a beset of burden before you(A). (A) Cf. Psalms 72, 23.
