Thus, experience show, with this Father as with Father Tonda, how very detrimental Ormuz is to us, both spiritually as well as temporally, for no Father has ever gone there who is not now dead, either there or from an illness contracted there, or has perished or died in some other way. I have already written to Your Reverence(B) with information about Ormuz and how unsuitable it is for us to be there, and have no more to say about this, except that experience shows it to be true, and that Your Reverence may do as you think fit in God about our residence there.
