In which it has been notified how on the part of India, peace and friendship is desired to be established with our governors and lords whom we have appointed in that country, and who has come to discover the spirit of our will if he be content to negotiate and carry out the said wish of yours, by which friendship with our most enviable and powerful magnificence is so much desired, and therefore our permission and sire conduct is granted to your envoys, who, by coming here to us may be enabled to look upon this business and the friendly wishes you entertain.
