_ 418 _ In the same year (1567) A directive from the king regarding Bastiao de Limos, Lisbon, on the 21st of March 1567, regarding opening commercial offices in Qalhat and Muscat:(26) Letter from the King whereby,in recognition of the services rendered to him by Bastião de Lemos, knight of his house, son of Jorge Femandes Forelro, on his resigning the factory of Kalhat and Muscat, to which he was appointed by letter, he grants him.the posts of Factor, Alcaide Mor, Inspector of Works and Comptroller of the Deceased of Daman, for a period of three years, on their being vacated by those appointed before 6 March of last year, 1566, In which he granted this to him.
