_ 454 _ C. 20 Item: A native rope-maker in the fortress to serve the dockyard will receive six hundred reis per month in cash and his ration of rice if he has had it hitherto. C. 21 Item: A Kanarese locksmith, to repair and look after the muskets and other essential things in the fortress, will receive ten thousand eight hundred reis per year at the rate of nine hundred reis per month.
