_ 482 _ C. 66 No lodgings allowance will be paid to any official of the treasury or the law. Item: In that fortress no lodgings allowance will be paid to any official, either of His Highness or of the law, and lodgings will not be paid by the royal treasury, as I direct that they should not. But when the chief treasury officer is there and occupies the factory buildings within the fortress and there is no lodging suitable for the factor, then the factor will be paid at the rate of eight xerafins per month for accommodation in which to live and carry out the work of the factory. C. 67 No official is to have more than one salary.
