I order and urge you that as soon as you receive this you will at once order that all the records there are of the said sureties be brought to you, and that faithful copies be made of all those taken from the nacadás who have come to these parts with horses from that fortress since the year 1544, with all the statements made in the said sureties, and you are to send the copies secretly to the Accounts Office by trusted persons. You will order by writ that henceforth copies of the sureties taken are to be sent to the said Office every year, and that the statements of the nacadás bring from the officials of the fortresses to which they take the said horses are registered in a book exactly as they are presented, of which you will also send a copy every year to the said Office. I inform you of this and command that you comply with this fully in all aspects, for this I hold to be in the interests of the said Lord and the good of his treasury. I order that this be recorded in the said Accounts Office and in the archives of the factory so that i t may be known to officials in the future.
