_ 103 _ Whether anyone is permitted to buy horses in the island of Ormuz without his permission or whether they purchased p.ro or took them from those who had bought them for themselves or through their agents or prevented persons from embarking them in the ships they wish or caused them to be embarked on their own ships against their will and make them pay more freightage than on other ships, or did the same with any other kind of merchandise. Whether either they themselves or they through their agents have caused annoyance to Moorish merchants coming from Persia, Arabia or Basra by taking from them by force the merchandise they bring or for less than their value or preventing the purchase of it by others at a just price or the sale of what they bring, ill treating them in their persons or their goods or preventing them from purchasing until their own agent makes a purchase. Whether they have prevented merchants from going to adjacent islands to buy merchandise, and the said Captains keeping it for themselves or inflicted annoyances on persons or goods by their agents . Whether they sell to the people the supplies they send for in their ships from Bengal, Sind, Barcelor and other places in India to that island of Ormuz for a higher price
