Many churches have been built for the good instruction of the newly-converted, and the Viceroy has sent provisions to our church and seen to it that some of the things necessary for the service of Our Lord and the growth of Christianity are carried out(B). More than fourteen thousand souls(C) have been baptised by the Society in India this year and many of them have an extraordinary calling from the Lord. 16 The Society is much-loved by all in these parts.
