I am sending with this letter a person who will give it to you so that he can convey to you on my behalf the aim and intention by which I am inspired, and can out before you in greater detail the many reasons why you should be glad to seize this occasion. For my part I very much hope that you will so that not only will you make your state secure but also that it will be a means of increasing and expanding it further.
