_ 151 _ wish to do so shall be bound to have it all written down and stated in a book which shall be had for that purpose in our house de mina of this City, of the Factory from this date and one month in advance of the first following so that we should know, and investigate what has been stated. And to such as in such vessels should wish to load, of which we may have approved in the aforesaid manner, there shall be given, after we have witnessed their especial charters, of the permission which we shall have given them, and which they shall make use of in respect to what by the Charter we generally grant, and he who should not within the said term have so written, shall not be able to freight during this year until the said day of January of next year for which we afford an opportunity. Furthermore, in order to afford greater favour to the said our natives and resident foreigners who enjoy our letters of naturalisation, by these present charters we are pleased to grant that those who from the said day of January next of the year one thousand five hundred and two, for the next two following years they who may make vessels of two hundred tons burden and upwards may load and freight them within the said two years for the said Indies with all, and whatever merchandize they may please and which may be calculated to be advantageous, and they may within that term send out and forward and
