On the one hand they fear and do not want to make governors of the powerful men of the land incase they make themselves popular with the people and connive with them to make acts of treason. On the other hand they like to tyrannise the people at the hands of these slaves. They often then take away all the slave’s property and straight away give them their power back again so that they can rob them once more later on. They like eunuchs
