And that meanwhile that the fortress should be in course of correction the King of Ormuz would allow him at his cost some houses of the best to be had close to the site of the fortress, to have in them a factory. And of all this two deeds were drawn up one in the Persian language to remain with the Captain in Chief, the other in Arabic to be sent to the King of Portugal this one being made on a sheet of beaten gold of the size of a sheet of paper. And the lettering was engraved in point, and it was placed in a silver case made like to a book, closed with three clasps, and both deeds were signed by the King, by Cojeatar, and by Raix Noradim, and in each there was a pendent seal; the center one was of gold, this was or the King, the two end ones were of silver; that on the right-hand was of Cojeater, that on the left of the Raix Noradim.
