In the ships the Captains spoke at length as they wanted against the Captain-in-Chief, and some of the nobles and gentlemen in their companies thought that this was wrong and found ways and means of passing to the Captain-in-Chief’s ship or to that of Francisco de Tavora, whom they thought to be a friend of his.
