_ 187 _ In the same year (1508) The incident of the officers objecting to Afonso de Albuquerque was still ongoing, when Pero de Oliveira sent a letter to Afonso de Albuquerque, on the 10th of April 1508:(7) I, Pero d’ Oliveira, scribe of the said “Frol de la Mar”(A), delivered this petition to Senhor Afonso de Albuquerque on 11th September of the said year, and requested a reply from him. He told me that he would give me one later. But, because we set sail and arrived in Ormuz and he did not have any spare time, I did not ask him about it again until 27th October of the same year.
