_ 239 _ In the same year (1508) Correspondence took place between Afonso de Albuquerque and Khwaja Attar, as well as with the Viceroy of India, to prove the actions carried out by Afonso de Albuquerque, this comes from the following letters. Khwaja Attar sent a letter to Afonso de Albuquerque, in 1508:(19) The surprise at the fact that Afonso de Albuquerque did not believe that the letters were from the Viceroy. The accusation that Albuquerque intended to destroy Ormuz as he had done to Kalhat. He refuses to pay 1,000 xerafins in tribute, on the grounds that Albuquerque had taken possession of 100,000 xerafins in Kalhat.
