(page no. 480) Document No. (34): His Excellency the Commander of the Navy, Duarte de Lemos, ordered the Agent, Gomes de Figueiredo, from Ormuz, on the 15th of October 1509, to deliver 700 reis to some of the Berber (Muslim) inhabitants who brought water to the ships. (page no. 482) Document No. (35): Afonso de Albuquerque sent a letter to Joao Froles, the supply officer, and Antonio Fragoso, the clerk, with the aforementioned supply officer, from Cochin, on the 17th of November 1509, regarding some supplies. (page no. 484) Document No. (36): Viceroy Dom Francisco de Almeida sent a letter to Dom Manuel I, telling him about the events in India and Ormuz. This letter was included in the book: “Lendas da India”. (page no. 486) Document No. (37): King D. Manuel I sent a fleet of 15 ships to India, carrying an order to appoint Afonso de Albuquerque as the Viceroy in India. The fleet arrived in India in November 1509. (page no. 564)
