Episodes of the year 1515 On the 21st of February 1515, Afonso de Albuquerque arrived in Ormuz to arrange its affairs after the rebellion led by Reis Hamid, the Minister of Ormuz, on behalf of the King of Ormuz. After he arranged the meeting with the King of Ormuz and the arrival of Reis Hamid, he asked everyone to enter the meeting unarmed, so Afonso de Albuquerque’s men were able to kill Reis Hamid.
