Sheikh Ismael sent his Captain with fourteen thousand men against him, but he retreated. Then Sheikh Ismael sent word to the Turk that if he was his friend he would send him the person calling himself King Foan. The Turk answered that when the said King saw himself lost and without revenue and honour, he had acted like a wounded man and sought refuge with him, and it would not be a good precedent to hand him over.
