Antonio Correa consented to this, and a relation of Rais Sharaf called Raez Shadradim, the captain of twelve terradas, seized the body of King Mocrim and carried it to Antonio Correa, who ordered that the head be cut off. Then Rais Sharaf's men worked on it and were so skilful that the face; eyes and nostrils were preserved. Afterwards they filled it with cotton in such a way that it seemed alive. Antonio Correa sent it to the governor in Ormuz with the account of what he had done, and it went in the charge of Baltesar Pessoa and Ruy Correa in a fusta. The governor was very pleased with our people on receiving this news, and the King of Ormuz was equally pleased, and great celebrations were enjoyed by all. The governor wert with the nobles to give thanks to Our Lord at the church. Then he and the King of Ormuz ordered a sepulchre to be made for the head in the city square of Ormuz. In honour and in the memory of Antonio Correa and those who carried out the action, the tombstone carried the following inscription, written in both our language and in Persian.
