_ 144 _ With a mouth full of elegance, and erudition, and lips full of honors, and repeating expressions, I give part to Your Majesty, that the affairs of the States of Ormuz, with your vigilance you follow the straight path, and much fatigue becomes a slave, and the most hungry of the servants of faith find the feet of obedience difficult, and with their arms thrown up in loyalty; manifesting yourself to everyone, and making your name known among the great and small, among the number of you, and that exceeds in love and loyalty to all who serve that high Court, may God build its existence with grace; and that having committed to you the government of Ormuz, he increased it with the conquest of Calayath, and its borders, as he saw in the ancient afflictions, in the gathering, and handing over the revenues of the country. The meager income at present faith finds very small, and my hopes are fruitless, and I trust in the faith, and commiseration of the High One, and the Regal person of Your Majesty, who has reached everyone, and I cover, so that you may relieve me of part of the burdens said income; I also ask for your kindness to pardon the disobedience that my father committed against your High Person.
