Joao de Castro received him, from Goa on the 8th of October 1545, requesting the presence of his son, Reis Nur al-Din from Qatif to Goa in India:(22) Most high and powerful Pince. On the voyage I received many honours and much hospitality from D João de Castro, the governor, and also from all the Portuguese, his subjects and fellow countrymen. Truly I was treated with affection by all as if I had been in my own home, and thus they were and are my people.
