(page no. 111) Document No. (11): King Dom Joao III sent a letter to Dom Joao de Castro, the Viceroy of India, Ivora, on the 12th of March 1545, in which he mentioned the Portuguese fleet and the Red Sea. (page no. 117) Document No. (12): Correspondence regarding exemption from the cloth duty to Shah Tahmasp, Ormuz, on the 12th of March 1545, shows the friendly relationship with the King of Persia. (page no. 119) Document No. (13): Dom Joao III sent a letter to Dom Joao de Castro, Viceroy of India, Ivora, on the 13th of March 1545, ordering him not to interfere with the merchant ships or the inhabitants of the Arab coast.
