_ 190 _ In the same year (1547) Khawaja Babu sent a letter to the Governor of Ormuz, on the 27th of September 1547, demanding his family rights from the King of Ormuz:(47) Sir. I, Khwaja Babu, Prince of Ormuz, make known to Your Lordship that although I am here at Your Lordship’s orders I have no roof over my head and nothing to eat or drink. The King will not look after me or see me, nor will the rulers. The rulers have all the power in their hands and the King is a mere child. Sir, I have many mouths to feed, and they give me nothing more to eat each day than one tanga, which I refuse. I beg Your Lordship to look after me, because I am a cousin of this King’s father.
