_ 213 _ In the same year (1547) The King of Ormuz sent a letter to the King, Ormuz, on the 27th of Oc-tober 1547, explaining the situation of the claimant Khawaja Babu:(56) Translation of a letter written by the King of Ormuz to the King, giving him account of how, on the death of his brother, the principal Moors of that land assembled, and the Christians, and asked the people if there was a son of the King in Ormuz whom they could raise to the kingship. Everyone said that Ormuz could not be without a king and all answered that, if there was one man to be raised to the kingship, it was himself, because he was brother of the King.
