(page no. 275) Document No. (68) Dom João de Castro sent a letter from Bassin on the 23rd of February 1548, in which he ordered the delegation of the commercial Agents and employees to the castles in India; to provide materials, provi-sions and other necessary things for the fleet of Dom Alvaro de Cas-tro, for the fleet accompanying him to Aden based on orders signed by him. (page no. 278) Document No. (69) Dom João de Castro sent a mandate to enable Dom Alvaro de Castro to grant safe passage permits to the outlaws, who come to work in the fleet advancing to Aden, Bassin, on the 23rd of February 1548. (page no. 281) Document No. (70) Dom João de Castro sent a letter from Bassin, on the 26th of February 1548, in which there was a mandate of authority to Dom Alvaro de Castro to establish peace and friendship with the King of Aden.
