_ 164 _ In the same year (1550) The priest Gaspar Barzio sent a letter to the Jesuit members residing in Coimbra and the rest of the community, Ormuz, on the 24th of November 1550, where they said that the woman claimed that her husband was unable to defend his religion:(21) The grace and peace of Christ Our Lord be always in our souls Amen. In obedience to father Superior Francisco, I have been kept here in Ormuz, in the Persian Gulf. This Kingdom is between Arabia Felix and Persia, as I mentioned in my detailed account last year.
