Alvaro de Noronha, the Governor of Ormuz, sent a letter to His Majesty the King of Portugal Dom Joao III, Ormuz, on the 25th of November 1550, regarding the journey from Goa to Ormuz, the Turks, and the military affairs, and he mentioned the attitude of Shah Tahmasp on the issue of Zaid:(22) Sir, [concerning the voyage from Goa to Ormuz; the Turks; and military matters]. 1.
