_ 361 _ In the same year (1551) Reis Nur al-Din sent a letter to His Majesty the King of Ormuz, on the 5th of October 1551, informing about the situation of the Turks in Shatt al-Arab, and the war of Shah Tahmasp with an internal rebellion in Persia:(41) Sir, May you always receive fair words and contentment as a result of what my father did. Last year, I wrote to Your Highness of my arrival in this Kingdom of Ormuz and of the situation in which I found it. I shall always do this while I live, for it appears to me that in this I serve Your Highness. I have no desires other than those I employ in the cause of Your Highness’s service.
