(page no. 346) Document No. (39): News came from India, from Diogo Botelho Perriera, Terceira (Azores) Goa, on the 15th of July 1551, as well as the occupation of Aden, Basra, Qatif and Bahrain by the Turks. (page no. 349) Document No. (40): A letter was received from Diogo Botelho Perriera to D. Roderigo Lopo, Baron of Dalvito, on the 15th of July 1551, mentioning that the Turks took Qatif. (page no. 352) Document No. (41): Reis Nur al-Din sent a letter to His Majesty the King, Ormuz, on the 5th of October 1551, informing about the situation of the Turks in Shatt al-Arab, and the war of Shah Tahmasp with an internal rebellion in Persia.
