In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, peace be with you. I would like to thank the Shaikh Zayed Book Prize committee for choosing me as the Person of the Year in Culture for 2009-10. Today, I will not talk about the Prize and its horizons; rather, I will talk about the founder of the Prize.
