Individualistic culture contains the element of setup and preparation – which is the act of construction; so it is sophisticated and individualistic. As for group culture, it applies to identities stabilizing unity, a reference to the values associated with history, and art falling entirely within the group. Its value lies within stability frozen in the past, and in returning to history, to emerge again. When culture emerged in our Arab world, it was based on the abstract cultural heritage, and it has appeared as a critical element of cultural diversity. And in the definition given by UNESCO of abstract cultural heritage, where what follows came: “This abstract cultural heritage, which was transferred from one generation to another, is being constantly re-created by communities and groups, according to their medium, and according to their interaction with nature and history, and gives them a sense of identity and continuity, thus contributing to the promotion of respect of cultural diversity and human creativity.” If we want to develop our culture by communicating with the West, we must enforce regulations to this communication; as many of Western countries are secular, and have the freedom of expression by all means.
