His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah provides scholarships for students with special needs who wish to pursue their undergraduate studies in stages of diploma, bachelor's, and then through their post-graduate studies for master's or doctorate at the University of Sharjah. H. H. also pledges to provide jobs for them in the Emirate of Sharjah.

This statement was announced during his fatherly meeting with the students who have special needs of the University of Sharjah held in celebration of the inauguration of "Resource Center" for those who have special needs at the University of Sharjah.

It is worth mentioning that the Emirate of Sharjah has been working for a long time to provide all means of comfort and integration for those who have special needs through initiatives, facilities, education and community campaigns. This has contributed to enable and empower a lot of persons with special needs to achieve great accomplishments that make them and everybody else proud of.
