His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, offered to establish an Islamic Centre in Wolfsburg, Germany. This gesture comes as a part of His Highness’ keenness to strengthen the religious and humanitarian relationships and his faith in the role of Islamic centers in as meeting points for promoting intellectual exchange and cultural dialogue between Muslims and other faiths.

The building of Islamic Centre in Wolfsburg is realized, after being the dream of more than three thousand Muslims, mostly Arabs, living in this German town.

The centre is the second of its kind to be built in Germany by H.H. Ruler of Sharjah, who inaugurated in September last year a premises of the Islamic Forum in Binsburg, South of Bavaria.

This centre that was built under the supervision of the General Secretariat of Awqaf, offers socio cultural activities and services for the Muslim communities of different nationalities.
