His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on June 10, 2025, issued a number of Emiri Decrees regarding the promotion of military personnel in the regulatory bodies of the Emirate of Sharjah. These entities include the Sharjah Police Science Academy, the Sharjah Police Headquarters, and the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority.

The promotions involved 27 senior officers from the Sharjah Police Headquarters, 6 senior officers from the Sharjah Police Science Academy, and 8 senior officers from the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority.

Likewise, the leaders of the regulatory bodies in the Emirate of Sharjah issued decisions promoting a total of 745 officers, non-commissioned officers, and individuals. This included 553 personnel from the Sharjah Police Headquarters, 25 from the Sharjah Police Science Academy, and 167 from the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority.

Appointing Yousef Al Shamsi as SCDA Director-General

His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri Decree appointing a Director-General of the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority (SCDA).

The decree stipulates that Brigadier General Yousef Obaid Yousef Harmoul Al Shamsi, Deputy Director-General of Police Stations at the Sharjah Police General Command, will be transferred to the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority and appointed as Director-General of the Authority, effective from the date of issuance of this decree.

Appointing Director of Al Dhaid’s SNQSE

His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree regarding the transfer and appointment of a director for the branch of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment (SNQSE).

The decree stipulates that Saleh Obaid Salem Balith Al Tunaiji, Director of Al Dhaid Cultural Centre at the Department of Culture in the Emirate of Sharjah, shall be transferred to the SNQSE and appointed as Director of the SNQSE’s branch in the city of Al Dhaid, and shall serve as a member of the SNQSE’s Board of Directors.
