His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, and Ruler of Sharjah on Monday morning opened Al Dhaid Wild Life Centre in Al Bardi in Al Dhaid City.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah visited the Centre and listened to a detailed explanation about its departments, functions and tasks. His Highness also reviewed the details of Al Dhaid Wild Life Centre, which is one of the most important specialised centers that display pictures of wildlife, through a trip that provides visitors with an opportunity to learn about the desert, and explore its wild life.

His Highness watched a short movie entitled “Sharjah’s Heritage”, which shed lights on Sharjah's rich archaeological heritage treasures, highlighting its environmental and biological diversity.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah witnessed a side of the interactive environmental workshops for children, with its animation and video presentations.

Including eight different halls, Al Dhaid Wild Life Centre provides several interactive techniques that meet the needs of all age groups in society.

As one of the most important projects concerned with the environment, the Center adds a significant role in preserving biodiversity, wildlife, and specialised educational centers, contributing to raising environmental community awareness.

The nature reserves and specialised educational centers are important key components of the Sharjah strategy, promoting the preserving of ecosystems and conserving the biological diversity of wildlife.
