H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, received Luis Guillermo Solis Rivera, President of the Republic of Costa Rica, and his accompanying delegation this morning at the Dr. Sultan Al-Qasimi Centre for Gulf Studies.

The Ruler of Sharjah welcomed the visiting guest to the Emirate of Sharjah, reviewing the leading march of the Emirate of Sharjah in the cultural and scientific development fields.

During the meeting, the Ruler of Sharjah and the President of Costa Rica exchanged cordial talks and discussed ways of cooperation in the economic and scientific areas which, in turn, will boost relations between the parties and contribute to the promotion of constructive cooperation in the development fields.

During a tour at the Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi Centre, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah presented a copy of the Discourse from Memory, "Hadith Al Zakira" book, translated into English to the Costa Rican President. Sheikh Sultan also received a number of books presented by the guest.
