His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah directed the Ministry of Health to consider a related intervention by ‘Aisha Matar’ through the “Direct Line” program on Sharjah’s Radio and Television service, in which she said that the Ministry of Health used to provide the best medicine for patients. However, the current alternative medicine that they provide in the catheter, which protects against clotting, has a penetrating odor to the nose and throat. In addition to its ineffectiveness, unlike the previous medicine that she was treated with for three years, before it was changed. Therefore, the patient has requested for it to be available once again.

As soon as His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi heard the patient’s complaint, he asked Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, to look into her issue, discuss her condition, and review the hospital in which she is being treated and the medical staff, to resolve the issue.
