His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, directed to raise the number of annual housing assistance for the emirate's citizens from 1000 to 1500, starting from the current year, to keep pace with the results of Sharjah Census 2022. This directive was announced via the "Direct Line" programme.

His Highness also directed that the financial benefits of the recently promoted officers in the General Command of the Emiri Guard will be retroactive from the date of their promotion.

The announcement proclaimed that the issue of the officers and individuals whose promotion date has come in the Sharjah Police General Command will be presented to the Sharjah Executive Council for approval, and their financial benefits will be retroactive.
