His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, said on the occasion of the 54th Eid Al Etihad that we celebrate this great occasion marking the founding of the United Arab Emirates and the beginning of a new era of development and prosperity.

His Highness affirmed that this union embodies the values of loyalty, belonging, unity, cohesion, and solidarity—values that underpin our country’s unity—and that from these principles began our journey of achievements towards a united and strong nation that upholds its principles, identity, and history, while ambitiously pursuing its goals and the aspirations of its children, armed with science and knowledge.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah stated: “The celebration of Eid Al Etihad by the loyal sons and daughters of the UAE is a source of great joy and deep meaning, reflecting pride and sincere belonging to our cherished country. It expresses the goal set by the founding leaders to make the Union a symbol of pride for its people and a pathway for development and progress across all fields, so that everyone can enjoy the luxury of living and a decent life and dignity. This country's goodness extends to every part of the world, cast as a ray of light and a benevolent hand that extends with honest humanity."
