His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has unveiled a project for the construction of a new hospital in Dibba Al-Hisn, accommodating 40 to 80 patients, with the possibility of expansion at a later stage.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah added, "We will provide the treatment to all residents of Dibba Al-Hisn directly in the hospital."
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah said that the dome of the hospital was established as a landing place for helicopters for emergencies, adding that the building will also be a multi-function hall for celebrations and events. His Highness also pointed out that the project will also serve as a recreational area for the people of Dibba Al-Hisn and the tourists.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah added that the building consists of several premises; two of them will be implemented, the first one will be for the Sharjah Cooperative Society, and the second one will be handed over to a contractor to build shops that can be leased through the Municipality of Dibba Al Hisn.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah revealed that the Kalba Road will be with the length of 94 km, and an average time of 47 minutes, stressing that the Dibba-Sharjah is 83 km long and takes 42 minutes.
Concluding the intervention made via the Direct Line Programme, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah called on the youth to work diligently and not to waste the time.
