Following the allocation of AED 270 million for the scientific research for the American University of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, announced the allocation of a budget for the scientific research at the University of Sharjah.
His Highness said in his intervention through the live talk show which is broadcasted on Sharjah Radio and Television that the development of the University of Sharjah will not be horizontal but vertical, speaking about the importance of scientific research, and the need for qualified persons and specialists in the scientific research and financial resources.
His Highness added: «We do not want to be left behind, but to accompany, walk along the world, and start where they finished, we may get stumble, stop over, or lose, but we do not give up».
His Highness continued: "Things need patience and I have since the establishment of the Union till this day work for the benefit of the society and give myself to my community," praising the efforts of the teams that work with them and make a great effort.
His Highness has recalled a statement he made at a meeting with the members of the Advisory Council that he "would become ferocious if someone is trying to approach one of his sons he is always worries about them and worked for them without tirelessness."
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah announced some more projects, including the establishment of three closed beaches for women in Sharjah, Khorfakkan, and Kalbaa, and the establishment of a special air-conditioned walkway for women in Al-Houmtah area and one for men in Al-Qarain area to be as a ventilation for them during the summer period which extends for nearly 5 months. He added that there are developments for the centers of youth and young people and new centers will be added to the existing ones in the different areas of the emirate, while the existing old ones will be developed and upgraded.
His Highness has mentioned that a men's and women's clubs will be added in Sharjah Gardens with all service facilities, including sports and cultural equipment, so that women can find a location for them at hand, as well as men, so that the privacy of women's society is preserved and given room for breathing and recreation.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah directed members of the community to deal positively and cooperate to protect the mind.
He said "We want people to be responsible and the country here wants to give, urging those who see any fault to work to inform the officials of what is reflected on the society and make it positive.
