His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the Shees Rest Area and handed over the title deeds of its commercial stores to the citizens of Shees and Al Nahwa.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, affirmed that the primary objective of the emirate's projects is to provide decent living, which is reflected in the income levels of UAE families. These projects also aim to improve the values and connections of UAE families to face any social, intellectual, or economic challenge that could cause new issues or threaten the stability of society.

This came during the speech of His Highness, which he delivered on Friday morning, at the inauguration of the Shees Rest Area located after the Rogue Tunnel on the Khorfakkan - Sharjah Road, and the distribution of titles deeds for its commercial stores to citizens of Shees and Al Nahwa regions.

His Highness emphasized his ongoing interest in and daily study of family social situations, as well as his follow-up on each home to determine the number of its members, their expenses, and their income to meet their needs. His Highness also stressed to focus on cases which are must be addressed individually or through laws, and decisions that contribute to providing a decent living for these families in a sustainable manner.

His Highness congratulated the citizens who own the new shops in Shees Rest Area, pointing out that the project will continue on the opposite side of the Rest Area. His Highness said: “We say to the people who were not lucky and did not get a chance in this project, we are working on the other side on a similar project and those shops will be yours, and you are all one family.

His Highness referred to work on similar projects for the city of Khorfakkan, represented by buildings with multiple floors by saying: “Just as we handed over buildings in the city of Kalba, Khorfakkan will have similar projects and will be handed over to the needy and deserving families who may have social problems. We will not leave them to problems, but rather we will protect them and provide them a decent life.

At the end of his speech, His Highness called on all people and citizens to adhere to religion, faith and principles, and to protect society from everything that might harm or disintegrate it.
