His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah affirmed that the government departments have nothing to do with employment, stressing that the employment is fully vested in him.

This came during His Highness’ intervention via the Direct Line Programme, broadcast live on Sharjah Radio.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah added that he is to establish large companies, where all citizens are shareholders in them without the need to pay; while the government is only getting an administrative percentage of these investments.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah has further stressed his keenness to provide better social conditions for the citizens, ensuring them a decent life.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah has also added that preparations are ongoing to complete a lake project in Al Hafiya- Kalba, to provide water reserves for all the areas in the emirate.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah has also referred to establishing greenhouses, to monitor pesticide residues in food, and screen the carcinogenic products before entering into markets. His Highness added that the Sharjah Consultative Council is responsible for implementing the project.
